Housekeeping

For the past 2 weeks I have been systematically unsubscribe myself from various mailer list. Only when I start doing that I realize just how much crap I have subscribe knowingly and unknowingly and some I don't even remember why I was in their mailing list.

I think that contributes to 40% of my mail, the rest are pure facebook. I know some have turn it off. For someone who doesn't follow Facebook, I don't know why I am keeping the notification. It's not like I login at every prompt. Hence it accumulates in my inbox, sometimes >300 messages before I go in and clear it. If I get $0.10 for every spam, I would have been rich by now.

Winter is upon us now though the weather is still manageable in my opinion. However it's time to dig out the winter wear and keep the summer stuff. With that I am also thinking in investing in a pair of knee boots and a wool blanket. I regret I did not take the SQ blankets. They were wonderful and I had more than 5 opportunities to take and I didn't. WHY OH WHY! Now I need to go and buy one.

On the bright side, June is sausage month! Can't decide if I should get sausages today or tomorrow for breakfast and Monday is a holiday! Unfortunately after this break we will officially enter a dry spell all the way until end of the year.

Oh well, a day at a time.
